Henapp Infocom Technologies (“we”) runs SimpliFi. This policy explains what personal data we handle and why, in line with Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
Who is responsible
For your workspace account (owner and staff details, billing) we are the data controller. For your WiFi customers (phone numbers, devices, sessions, payments) your business is the controller and we act as your processor.
What we collect
- Account data: names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers and passwords (stored hashed) of you and your staff.
- Business data: packages, vouchers, routers, sites, settings and invoices.
- Customer data you process with us: phone numbers, device MAC and IP addresses, session times and data usage, payment references.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and security logs of sign-ins and important actions.
How we use it
- To provide the Service: grant WiFi access, process payments, send SMS receipts and codes.
- To bill your workspace and support you.
- To keep the Service secure and prevent fraud.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use your customers’ data for our own marketing.
Who we share it with
Only the providers needed to run the Service: hosting, SMS delivery, e-mail delivery and the payment providers you connect. They may only use the data to provide their service.
How long we keep it
While your workspace is active and for up to 12 months after it is closed, unless the law requires longer (for example invoices). Session and message logs are pruned regularly.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete personal data. WiFi customers should contact the business that runs the hotspot first; we help them respond.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS); secrets such as payment and SMS keys are encrypted at rest; access is limited by roles and every important admin action is logged.
